Popular Post dominattorney Posted June 21, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 21, 2020 this is a lovely picture isn't it? Sadly, it's the only one. That's a double Mai Tai my stepdaughter fixed for me under that cigar. By the time I got to the second third, we'll.... lets just say photography was not on my short list of important duties. Not much really was, to be honest. In the haze of looking back on the experience, I've got nothing but good memories, however. The cigar opened strong with cream, citrus, and sweet flavors. The sweetness started with caramel, but baking spices weaved in and out throughout the 70 minute smoke. Perfect construction and burn for a young cigar. Paired well with the mai tai, which was made in the classical style with just rum, orgeat, lime juice and dry curacao. Excellent pairing. I'd rate this one a "let's try again tomorrow night" on a scale of 1 to 10. 5
RDB Posted June 21, 2020 Posted June 21, 2020 Great idea for a pairing! Fine cigars these too. An unusual example of a successful 'not the core marca flavours' release by Habanos.
