Hello fellow FOHers,

I wanted to create a thread for members to post their cigar band creations. I saw some posts regarding this topic awhile ago and thought to start it back up! Recently I just finished my phone case that has taken me quite awhile to complete! ?Let me know what you think!

My friend and I have started doing that but I've not stuck them down as I like to change them out but does look very cool

Essentially what I did was I created a template with a thin piece of paper and used double-sided tape to adhere all the bands, making sure it filled up the entire template. Then I used an Xacto Knife to cut out all of the access. Lastly, I purchased a Clear Mous phone case and put the case overtop of the template and phone!

Here is a picture to show what it looked like before the last couple of bands were added. I used as little tape as possible so that I could weave bands underneath and over one another to add more character to the design! ?

Very nice. Probably one of the better compositions with cigars bands I've seen in a while.  Most look like they're mashed together in 5 minutes.

@maverickdrinker well hello there old friend! Hope you and family are doing safe and well. If ever in Thornbury,ON, a drink, smoke and chat await. And a nice dog too.

Here is a fun thing to do with bands. Get an interesting chair, tray or other thing at a second hand shop. Paint the bands down with acrylic craft varnish you get at a craft store.
