Popular Post Habana Mike Posted May 22, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 22, 2020 So I was cleaning up the cigar room today and found 5 tubos that still had cigars in them! Lit up the Punch Churchill, it was still a bit soft when I squeezed the head. Old brown band, I think the last box I had was from '98. Smoked amazingly! Just to be sure I went through all of them and found one more. Anyone else ever find a tubo that had been out for a while and still was smokeable? 8 3

You bugger!, great stroke of luck, hats off. I will say in general, I just treat tubos as a totally different entity. After smoking from 20yr to 30yr old sealed boxes, they're just perfect everytime. and marry both aspects of power (holding on to their oils more than non-tubos) and still posessing the soft melded tannins. I will go so far as to say, if I had to choice between either a vintage 50 cab of a given cigar, or two vintage boxes of 25 tubos. I think I'd go for the tubos every time. 7
Popular Post El Hoze Posted May 22, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 22, 2020 Great post @Habana Mike! I found a Siglo III one time that I thought must have been empty but wasn’t. Cigar was perfect. Agree with @99call I am a big Sir Winston smoker but I miss the HU Monarchs/Monarcas as they were available in tubes. Smoking an ‘04 HU Monarch now and chuckled at this note on the tube as it took 16 years for the cigar inside to be smoked. It was certainly enjoyed! 9
