Sad to see. A lot of us have spent some good times here. NYE was a BLAST. Now this. I wanna cry.

Sad to see is right. They depend so much on tourism that IMO its going to take a while for their economic state to get back to anywhere near where it just was before COVID hit.

Sad to see indeed. It's the first hotel i stayed in in Havana in February 2010.

The first picture shows the exact spot where Rob and Stuart Fox first met Hamlet.

He was bringing me some Salomones on his way to the PCC party. Some of which I still have.

I remember it well. Hamlet walked into the lobby talking on two iPhones simultaneously. In 2010, when Cubans owning even one cell phone was questioned and a Cuban entering a tourist hotel lobby, on the phone or not, was questioned! 

Nobody was asking Hamlet any questions.
