The real deal is in the middle, the other two are Nudies No 3. Apart from a little length construction feel and appearance very much the same. Aroma, 12 years on two, no comparison.

First third baked bread ,spice a little espresso. Lush smoke

Second and final third more of the same and it went fairly quick. But I can be a pig. A solid 90 points. For the record I actually prefer the Nudie No 3 .Yes I actually did say that. The only non Cuban I have ever really liked.

I have not had the HR cooperative cigar in this size yet, but have a few thanks to @BuzzArd. I have to concur about the these cigars that Hamlet and Rob blended. I have had only one to date, but it caused me to go back and get another bundle. These cigars are really good...

As far as the Partagas is concerned, there has always been an animal protein taste to them. It was another member here... I cannot remember now who brought it to my attention, @99call or @Fugu I think, that pointed this out to me and actually brought my attention to it.

The 08 SDC #3 was one of my all time favourites. That year was particularly good. Interesting to get a review 12 years later. I liked the initial mongrel and scoffed mine. I reckon that mongrel is there in the Nudie #3 too. Great aroma when fresh as well.

great review West.had one of mine over the weekend haven’t had one for years ,still really nice with years left on them  still quite powerful all in all a lovely smoke

All right, it's decided. When I start smoking again, it will be a '99 SdC#3 and a Nudie #3.
