Colt45 Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 Stop eating infected animals. Don't be lemmings..... 1 1
Popular Post Bram Smoker Posted March 22, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 22, 2020 Bat and anteater are crazy delicious. If you're asking me to lay off the bat and anteater meat I just don't think I can do it. I'd rather live in a world with continuous pandemics then give up either dietary staple. 5
Trimming Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 It opened the doors for Governments to have more Data & control over all again to the extreme with “justification” in the open. Regulations to the extreme... IMO

Speaking for the UK,....Not kneecapping the NHS with 10yrs of underfunding, and running it on starvation rations. The only possible up side of this situation, has proved that trying to kill off vital public services is a fools game. 2
Cubadust Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 Just watch the news once a day, most people can’t handle it. Stop eating crazy shit. Take good care of your hygiene. Yeah, and nurses should be paid more and we should have more of them. 1

Kitchen Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 Insofar as I am concerned, nothing. After I get this and, more then likely, survive, my life will go back to normal. And I suspect I will in fact catch this at some point in to. I do expect my government to cut off all travel to countries with open wet markets though.

I think this one, while in theory seems reasonable, may not be possible. China is a huge country and the American economic engine is completely dependent on China and its inexpensive materials and labor. I'm intrigued by the geopolitical dynamic that exists between China and the US. We're so intertwined, yet so different from each other. Rhetoric always seems to flare up, yet the US becomes more and more dependent as time goes on. China is balancing their communist system with the internet and all it brings along with the somewhat demanding opening of the curtains by their global trading partners. I believe we'll see a slow, but potentially never ending, attempt by the west to minimize their dependency on China. That in turn will lead China to make some changes that placate the masses, but to what extent those changes occur and persist are the true questions to be answered. One true X factor here - events like this in history tend to bring with it significant social upheaval. We're truly in the beginning stages of this and have no real way to know how it ends. The events of the next few months and years - until there's some semblance of control - can dramatically alter what our collective thought process is now. 1

The Jungle caused the West to get's its shit together. I expect this to cause the East to get's shit together, and, if not, I'd say good bye. We cant afford to deal with something like this every 5 years.
