JJFox, in collaboration with FoH, are having a party in Havana on Thursday, February 27th from 4pm - 7pm. ALL FoH members are welcome. There'll be booze, cigars, music, some tastings, some announcements. If you are planning on coming please respond on this thread so we have some idea of numbers, thanks! It'll be a laugh! Swim gear optional. Edit. It's an odd address. Bring the map if you plan on coming. Many taxi drivers just don't believe that there is such an address as 11th Street, between 6 and 41. I'm not sure if Jorge will know the address, most taxi drivers don't. Try to bring a print out of the map in the post above for Jorge. He will certainly be able to follow that. He will certainly know Espacios. From Espacios, drive South on Calle 10. Calle 10 becomes Avenida 41 when it crosses 5th Avenue. Continue 200 yards and turn left on Calle 6. The house is 100 yards up on the right, opposite the house of the Japanese ambassador. If you're driving more than 3 minutes from Espacios you've gone wrong. Or, get the Maps.me app on your phone. Download the map for Cuba. Then place a pin on the map for the house. That app will give driving directions even while offline in Cuba, as long as your phone has GPS. I think most if not all smart phones have GPS/Glonass now. I've lost count of the number of drivers who simply wouldn't believe that there is such an address as "Calle 11 between 6 and 41". It normally wouldn't make sense, but it's there alright. Looking forward to seeing you! Please ask Jorge to come in too of course. I might be talking to him before then. 1
