I haven't posted in here for quite some time and thought that it would be nice to share some vintage cigars that just came in. I like to collect and smoke as many different vitolas de salida as possib

I don’t normally post my purchases but, aside from the Nudies bundles I ordered, the Lanceros will probably be the last cigars I receive for a while. The other two are highlights from my last few orde

Have heard very mixed reviews on these... anyone had 'em?

I am probably one of the ‘mixed’ ones. 😅

Not an overly interesting release in my book. Never gotten over a handful of singles. I found them tiring, an uninspired blend. Bringing nothing new to the table that reg-prod doesn’t provide, or doesn’t provide even better.

But may be that’s just me. I’ll be very interested to hear what you think of them, now, nearly a decade down the road. Cubans are always good for a surprise. 😁🤞

Montecristo Dantés EL 2016

Both the Montecristo Dantes and Romeo y Julieta Capuletos were overshadowed by the Trinidad Topes LE that year. Furthermore, its blend was completely on the other spectrum of the very popular, unofficial Limited Edition released the year previously, that is, the Montecristo 80 Aniversario (which I wish I bought more of!).

Heavy in cocoa/coffee upon release, maybe ten years rest has taken some of the edge of these?

Just had one the other night. It was ok, but definitely didn't have what I look for in an EL. Wouldn't buy more after 1 lol.

I bought a box when they first came out. Remains the strongest Cuban cigar I’ve ever smoked - sent me completely sideways. I still have nine of them left. On my list to revisit so a nice prompt.

Hefty for sure. I'd say they need some time but 9 years seems like a lot 😅

I couldn't resist the fundy vitola. Major overpay 🥹

I am right there with you! If they are even a hint better than a Regios then they will be well worth it!
