Chibearsv
I’m posting photos of a lovely gift I received today. I was excited when I saw the box but there was no way the person giving it to me could have paid for these. When I protested that it was way too much, he said he spent just a little more than the usual $100 gift but he knew I’d like these...uh oh. I ran the serial number and they come up as RYJ #2 tubos. I’m amazed at the packaging here. How could fakers put such a package together and profit at $200?
dominattorney
Maybe they're ok? I've had fake cohiba grand reservas that smoked well.
cigcars
*All you can do is try one. They're very nice looking - if you don't know what you're looking at. As Dominattorney said; maybe they may smoke well. Then you can just bask in the knowledge that you have a Dominican/Honduran/Mexican fake Cuban banded smoke that might be somewhat passable(?) SenorPerfecto
No way those are real. I do not believe Habanos authenticator is wrong; it especially is not going to be wrong on a box or Gran Reserva. Wrappers look bad. Fakes have been demonstrated to have good looking box details, right down to the embossed hinges.
Nino
Too many hints of not being entirely the right stuff. A Spanish Tax Seal next to the Cuban one but no Altadis blue round sticker ? The Box code is .... not existing as it is only numbers and wrong ones at that - 2010 ... ? The wrappers .... no comment. The price - good joke. Might be a nice stick, so just try it.

I agree with you and @Dominattorney. I've smoked plenty of fakes in my life that were plenty good. I hope their tasty. I'm just stunned at the effort for such a small return. 7 minutes ago, nino said: Too many hints of not being entirely the right stuff. cbenham73
They are more than likely Fakes. As many others have said the price and wrapper color are enough Red Flags. Give them a try. I have had some decent Fakes as well that were given to me as gifts.
