this december will have five saturdays, sundays and mondays. it will be another 832 years until this happens (so i am told - i have no intention of checking). apparently, the chinese know it as bag full of money month. again, no idea if that is true. biut apparently to be the recipient of said bag of money, one must pass this on.

i look forward to december 31 for my untold and undeserved riches to descend.

yes, 2029. well scratch all that. no idea what they were on about. it did seem odd and if i was not so lazy then i could have avoided it from the start.

That makes no sense at all! The longest time between identical calendars is for leap years, and that is 28 years. Other years repeat in a pattern, each repeat time being less than about a dozen years. Starting at 2003, the next repeats for that year are in 2014, 2020, 2025, 2031.

Edit: Not trying to be pedantic, but I must correct myself. 2020 would be in the cycle example above, however is knocked out because it is a leap year. 2020 has the same calendar as 1992 and will be repeated again in 2048.

Any month with 31 days that starts on a Sunday will have 5 Sundays, 5 Mondays and 5 Mondays. As you have 4 full 7 day weeks, The first 3 days of any 31 day month will occur 5 times.

Same thing for 30 month days. First 2 days of the month will repeat 5 times in that month. And every leap year, February will have 1 day repeat 5 times in that month. Next year, February will have 5 Saturdays.
