Hey guys, these are two cigars (mentioned above)  that i have never smoked that i would like to know more about, what flavour profile can i expect from these two?

Are the guys on the forum a fan of either?

can either of these cigars stand up to the classic robustos like the D4 or the RASS?

curious to hear opinions

I love the Regios and have been on the lookout for a box since I've been out for awhile now.  Picadores, when they are rolled right, are fantastic, I almost like them as much if not better than a Cohiba Robo when they are "on".  It's worth mentioning that I did get a box of Picadores once where almost every cigar had these fire retardant wrappers where even if you torched them, they wouldn't combust and turn into grey ash....horrible.  They were "Clearance" cigars from FOH BUT there was a couple of phenomenal cigars in the box so I don't look at that as a loss.  Regios, I've never had a bad experience with them but they have a distinct stone fruit, acidy, like fruit-acidy flavor but again, that's what I get from them.

Regios are definitely the better choice fresh. Picadores need time. Both are below medium IMO. Neither is very strong at all. The Picadores can be rather bland until at least 2-3 years.

I always try to pick up a box of Pics every time I go to the island. Of course, I always pick up 2 or 3 boxes of RASS... ?

I like both Picadores and Regios, but I would say Regios are a more distinct and unusual smoke. They can be really sweet and perfumed. Definitely lowish body and strength. The Picadores are like a de-tuned Por Larannaga, a bit milder than PLPC, with a vegetal sweetness that is attractive to me.  Writing this actually makes me want one.

I don’t think a ‘better / worse than’ comparison with other cigars is that helpful. Depends on the box and your tastes. Key thing is character. If you want full strength and body, stay away. If you like some sweetness and complexity, come hither.
