I decided to go cheap and cheerful for this review because I had to mow the grass today. I always have PL/RG panatelas on hand because they have rarely let me down, and this box has been no exception. 

This thing looks fantastic, especially for any short filler stick. Fired the cigar, fired the mower, and off I went. Immediately sweetness, salted caramel, almost a creme brulee note.  Best from this box thus far. It tones down some to just having a nice sweetness with subtle caramel flavor. Not much change throughout, but I don't need it with this profile. 

Goes to show you that you don't need to break the bank to get great smokes. The value from these is insane.  And in the event there is ever a dud, its not like you're pitching a Cohiba. Draw was spot on, construction and burn was great.  Easily 90 points. Don't believe it? Get a box and try 'em out for yourself.

Single best value in CCs, hands down, IMO. RGP a close second. Been an everyday cigar staple for me for many years. 88-90 point cigars for $2.25.

Source? Haven't heard anything about that. I would imagine if PLP goes so will RGPE...

If it's LCDH Hamburg and Christoph Wolters, it's garbage. He deals in rumors and speculation. I can't believe he has any credibility left at this point.

Or this 2013 list of his that made halfwheel that has quite a few of the cigars wrong. He was a year early on JLPC and there's no official confirmation even 6 years later on some of them like SLR DC, Hoyo DD, MdO2, and El Morro.

If it came from that crook, I would have discounted it immediately. I can’t recall exactly, might have been Dalay. I sure hope it’s wrong since there are a few sticks on there that I would miss dearly.
