Hidden Talents

Was chatting with friends yesterday, and the topic of hidden talents came up. Unbeknownst to my friend, her husband is quite an accomplished artist. He did mostly sketches in his younger years before he met his wife, and some of his artwork is hanging up in their house (a few of his paintings are in his parent's house). She never knew they were done by him, as he never signed them and or mentioned he was the artist. The funny thing is, she paints in her spare time, and has sold her art at weekend market fairs. The look on her face, when he casually tossed in that he did all that artwork, was priceless.

So it got me thinking, what other hidden talents do people have that only you or a few friends know about?

  I can genuinely lick my own elbow. Being hyperflexible was cool back in school years, now I'm older stuff just hurts more 

  I thought I was a modern miracle until I found out it's pretty common on YouTube...

  A-A-A-R-R-G-G-H-H-H!!! My best friend and neighbor in our childhood used to do that - freaked my Grandmother out when she saw that. So he would get a kick out of flipping his eyelids out right when she'd be in the vicinity. Of course she finally used reverse psychology on him and stopped freakin' : He would go, "Miss Garnett - look!" And she just shrugged, looked at him and went, "Mmm hmm." And he went, "But Miss Garnett look!" She was nonchalant, so the fun was gone for him! Again - we were small kids at the time!

    * I am good with numbers. I do people's income taxes not as a business, but just because I know how and can manipulate the various laws and regs in our favor - so people get large refunds - safely.  I've also had some poetry published in past years.
