From glass top Fohibas to mispriced Cobiba Robustos Supremos on instagram. @blakeLA and several others and I got together at SLS hotel to enjoy a couple cigars and we brought fakes to dissect and have a good laugh about. Second from left went overboard on faking the band. The white text is even embossed whereas I can’t notice the authentic one on far left having anything embossed more than just the gold bits. This one came from a 25 dress box without any stickers or box stampings Third from left came from yet another fake 25 box with Cuba authenticity sticker misplaced and no box stamp. Fourth, my favorite POS, came out of a freezer bag that girls were handing out at a charity golf tournament. Though a cigar is a cigar, life is too short to spend any time smoking imposters. I also thought the same that first one from left is definitely legit Montecristo No. 2 from FOH since others are too wonky and veiny, showing too much of size variance in my eyes. I grabbed one and it looked a little “interesting” so I flipped the box to check the date code. Nothing... I took a closer look at the band and the word Cohiba looked as though it was smudged..
