Popular Post JoeyBones777 Posted February 22, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 22, 2019 Decided to go with our discontinued friend here for the Bolivar weekend review, may he rest in peace.? 1st third: Draw and burn are perfect! Complex smooth flavors of forest floor, Cuban twang, baking chocolate, a touch of leather and a floral note interplay beautifully and incredibly balanced. Great start! 2nd third: Coffee enters the fray with much of the same, however, the intensity has ratcheted up a bit. Final third: A bit of black pepper on the palette comes and goes with all the original flavors. Draw and burn remain near flawless with 1 tiny touch up that probably wasn't really necessary. A fantastic cigar! What a shame it has been discontinued. An incredible display of everything Bolivar with earthy, malty flavors in a savory profile delivered with elegance and finesse. I would peg this at a 95 currently and don't see how it could get much better. Whomever made the decision to pull the plug on what I consider the best Bolivar had to offer should be ashamed of themselves. 7
Derboesekoenig Posted February 22, 2019 Posted February 22, 2019 If not my favorite Bolivar, this is top 3 for Boli experiences I've had. Good review. I will try not to smoke through what I have left too quickly. Maybe they'll re-release one as an ER someday. 1
Chucko8 Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Nice review thank you. Looked like a beauty of a stick. What was the smoking time for it? 1
