That was a hard fought 7 game series and came down to that last out. KC got a trophy the following year so no shame to what was a really solid team. If it weren't for Madison Bumgarner we would have never done it. 2010 was on lock. Best pitching collectively I have ever seen in a postseason in my years as a baseball fan. And it was my team. I'd never quite experienced anything like it as I really don't have " a team" other than the Giants. Surreal. I still think about Timmy. He lost a wife and a brother within a year after having to call it quits due to his body breaking down. The Freak is dearly missed. 2012 was insane. How we pulled that off I'll never know!

Yes it was a good WS. Bumgarner name still pops up in KC from time to time. I agree they wouldn't have won it without him.
