Joeysmoke
Season’s Greetings and Merry Christmas from Canada! Does anyone here have a smoking jacket - home use or dress use? I’m planning on attending at least one CA Big Smoke next year and I’m kind of over the burgundy velour blazer I’ve worn for a while. Hoping someone has a review out here. Thanks for your time and all the best in 2019! Joe

Luca
Hi @Joeysmoke Derek Rose sells smoking jackets. I have the red tartan one which is not on their website at the moment. My friend @DirtyHarry owns the green tartan one which is very very warm. Have a Look: https://www.derek-rose.com/men/clothing/mens-dressing-gowns/smoking-jackets.html There are also heaps of smoking jackets for sale on etsy if your keen too. In general - when buying one, always purchase one that is a size too big for you as the smoking jacket is usually designed to protect your suit/clothing from ash and smoke. Happy hunting! Luca That doesn't look like the kind of jacket you'd wear to an event; smoking or not. Those are for home use.

Those are for home use. Not at all. They are more than acceptable to wear out. They are, like previously said, to protect your suit/clothes underneath from tobacco aroma and ash. I like these ones. Plus they are a bit cheaper https://www.betabrand.com/collections/reversible-smoking-jackets/mens-black-red-reversible-smoking-jacket?sscid=c1k2_nlw9p

Tie belt jackets are meant for home or private settings. You do not go out with a tie belt smoking jacket on.

You don't want to wear a costume outside of Halloween.

It’s reversible so you can avoid having people stare and laugh at you on the street.... and also impregnate the stench and ashes into your shirt after your done smoking?
