Let's wait and see if the newer tobaccos age as well But yes. Smooth but still flavoursome. Corylax18 Posted December 26, 2018 Share Posted December 26, 2018 For me there was one cigar that really stood out above the rest. After that, the rest of the top 10 were all in the same realm. The 1980's Davidoff Chateaux Margaux pictured below is one of the top few cigars I've smoked. Period. Smooth and elegant beyond belief, the retrohale was like silk, clean and almost imperceptible through the sinuses. Sweet, nutty, toasty, perfect draw and burn from tip to tail. Really the perfect cigar. As good as the cigar was, the settings only amplified it. 1st cigar of the day with breakfast and champagne with great friends next to the pool in Havana. HDGSN Posted December 27, 2018 Share Posted December 27, 2018 It took almost to the end, but can’t top the 2nd of the 4 Reynaldo Robustos that I had in Cuba - this one on the balcony at the Casa on Christmas night with my better half and a case of Presidentes from the mercado down the street. In close 2nd would be the 1st Reynaldo Robusto that I had earlier in the day while walking through Habana Vieja and then to El Dandy in Plaza de Cristo for Cafe con Leche and a few mojitos.
