I went to College near Buffalo. If Canada is worse than buffalo then that’s brutal

Nah man it's not. buffalo can be bad. I am just north of buffalo about 45 mins from the boarder. Lake effect over Lake Erie into Buffalo can be bad.
We had a nice day today. Was about 12C.

Anyone stay at Paris Las Vegas resort? I see it’s in a pretty good location and some good reviews compared to the Bellagio.

I stayed there last year for a few nights around Christmas because we got a really low rate. I would not recommend it.  The facilities are pretty run down (spa was dirty) and the restaurants aren’t very exciting.  I do like the casino and having drinks at the Eiffel Tower restaurant, but that’s not enough to get me to go back. The location is good, you are right about that.

The Bellagio is much nicer, in my opinion.

Thanks for the advice!

This confuses me. These hotels aren't in the same ball park on prices, amenities, restaurants, shopping, gaming, pretty much everything except for location. Bellagio is one of the top 3 nicest hotels in Las Vegas, Paris is closer to bottom 3 on the strip. Paris definitely offers less for less $$, so it may be a good "value" proposition, although I would recommend several other properties in that same area/price range.

Good call checking here, there is a lot of bad info out there.

For sure, this is why I ask here. I do not put too much weight on reviews as you will always find a few bad ones in the bunch. Just wanted to see how this compares to the others listed. Not so much Bellagio. I guess it was the location.

I am leaning towards the encore/Wynn and will take a few trips down the strip to try and experience as much as I can.

I agree completely.  Paris caters to a different clientele (price-wise) than Bellagio.  Bellagio is top tier in all respects.  Paris is not even close.

I’m not saying you can’t have fun at Paris, I’m just saying that it’s not in the same class as Bellagio.

I love the Bellagio’s restaurants, the art gallery, and now that I think of it, there is a small bar in the middle of the casino where you can smoke cigars (they sell them at the bar). It’s called the Baccarat Bar.

The Bellagio also has a free tram that takes you to the City Center shopping area (think Cartier, Hermès, Prada) which is right next to the Aria Resort and Casino.  There is a cool Woolgang Puck restaurant there if you need a drink or pizza.  My wife and I always take the Bellagio tram at least once per trip to head towards the other end of the strip and take a look around without having to sit in the back of a cab in traffic.

You won’t be disappointed with the Wynn or the Encore. But definitely visit other properties.

Encore/Wynn are very, very nice as well. Really the only downsides are the Price/location. Everything else is tippy top. Steve Wynn is actually the genius behind all three hotels, (Wynn/Encore/Bellagio) so the design/feel (inside) is very similar.

As @Cayman17 said, if you get dropped at the Bellagio, City Center, or the Park Hyatt (formerly the Montecarlo) you can hop on the free tram behind the hotels and cover a lot of ground, faster and cheaper than a cab.
