Just smoked the second from a box of 18s gifted to me by a good mate.

I’m getting a lot of the “floral” flavours that have been spoken of recently on the forum:-

Thoroughly enjoying these. Any other fans?

I have good memories of them. When I started going to Havana a number of years ago I started having one with an Americano in the back patio or pool at the National each morning. At that time I wasn’t really drinking coffee in the morning except for an Americano and the Epi de Luxe in Havana. Had many boxes over the years but haven’t had one in a while and none in my humidor now. I may need to pick up a box next time in Havana to start my days there with my Americano.

Now I love having a cigar with a morning Americano when I get the chance.

Definitely a floral stick!  I keep a box around just to revisit the floralness.

Bought 5 boxes a couple of years ago and they had 3years on them already, Absolutely great ( I think they were original release),  thanks for jogging my memory, might buy some more.

I was given one of these on my 50th birthday back in October 2016 and it (just nudging ahead of the Davidoff Escurio Robusto) was my cigar of the year. Haven't had one since sadly.

I have 2 boxes, both TOS SEP 16, it's the dark with thick wrapper ones. I've tried 2 this far and they've been pretty much tasteless with hints of driftwood in the first half and 12 hour old coffe thats been standing in the pot on high heat for the second part. Though, since I've adjusted my humidity everything have started to taste better so I have a third one waiting to be smoked next week,

I'm a fan. Bought 2 boxes this year in Cuba from '17. Absolutely love them, my to to cigar. As I feel they are spot on, not resting any and smoking them regularly

A good cigar but overpriced because of the second band.

Really? I remember them as fairly reasonably priced cigars, like in the regular robusto range.

I think it's a petit robusto.

Yes, 70 CUC for 10 in Cuba.

Yes, by name anyway. But it’s a 52 rg cigar so not really ”petit” petit. I don’t think I paid more than $85 usd per box and that’s reasonable for a cigar I’d say, double banded or not.

Well, we have different perspectives.

If it was a 25 box it would cost $175.

For 187 I can have a Dip 2 box, for 191 a BBF, for 200 a Connie A, for 160 Cazadores, 167 a Presidente...

Like I said, just a perspective. This weekend I was discussing with other members about Favoritos. We disagree, no right or wrong.

BTW, for $165 I can have 75 Favoritos :-))))

Yeah, well turns out I don't even like the cigar so I would much rather have put my coin elsewhere :)
