RyJ Petit Royales?

So I hadn't been paying these any mind because pegged them as yet another overpriced petit robusto but then incredibly I saw them listed here at the int store with a price point somewhere between the HUHC and the Monte Media Corona. At that price they seem pretty reasonable (though not in stock unfortunately). Are these out in the wild yet? Are they any good? How do they profile?

Thats what I thought, but the price listed here is pretty reasonable. cheaper than the Monte Media Corona, and a little under half the price of a RyJ Churchill, which makes sense since its the size of half a Churhill. I'm so used to complaining about the price point of new releases that I was taken off guard.

The price listed on FOH’s out of stock stuff are usually very very cheap.

So these prices can’t be used as a gauge.

Several other online reputable sources are listing these for around USD150-170 per 25box.

That puts them nearly double that of the HUHC.

At this price point I’ll take the Monte 4 or Partagas shorts any day. Cheaper as well. I feel the HdM Petit Robustos are also around this price point.

Its far too expensive, I doubt it has sold well at all. In most markets its double the price of the HUHC.

I've smoked a couple of sticks and liked it but the pricing doesn't make sence. If it were in region of a HUHC I would buy a few boxes, no problem.

These are readily available for $135-145 if one looks. That said, it's still 15-20% too high. There's absolutely no reason these should be priced higher than the HUHC. None. HSA got the pricing wrong on this one big time. Why anyone would buy these when the Mille Fleurs is ~$110 and the Belvederes ~$90 is absurd. I hope these start piling up in Havana.

It’s more the size of a third of a Churchill. Good cigars but even at $135 still simply overpriced.

I still hate the name. I smoked through and gifted out from a box I had. Was a fantastic cigar I thought. Many people commented they liked it also.

Just hate the name.
