It's not time to mourn. I seem to recall @El Presidente mentioning Diplomáticos No.2's going into a short-term hiatus last year (like a few months). 

Habanos S.A may be deleting vitolas from marcas, and especially from local brands, but there are trademark reasons not to delete the last regular production Diplomáticos.

Even if it disappears, it will eventually come back as an RE, etc. You’ll have plenty of time to save up several benjamins for that 10 ct box!

One year a while back there was a mourning period about LGC, SCDH and Trini. You could not find them since suddenly there was a grabfest.

Then two years later boxes with the current year like it was normal.

Guess I'd better slow down on what I have left until I can get a new box. Bought a box from our host last fall, and they've been sensational.

In addition to not wanting to kill the last cigar in a marca, I'd guess Habanos might also have an interest in keeping Diplomaticos because there is no NC version that exists in the American market (AFAIK, anyway). I know there was talk that's why QdO has been getting attention and new cigars.
