humans are really odd - always ranking things

we humans seem to have an innate desire to rank things. i put up the ranking of star wars movies yesterday (they could have got away with 1, 2 and the rest as also-rans).

today, ranking the covers of that fabulous old dashiell hammett classic, the maltese falcon. not a bad film, also. 42 of them. why on earth anyone needs to know a ranking of book covers is beyond me but knock yourselves out.

anything else ranked we should know about?
