Whatever is in a Monte 4!

I always go back to that profile as a favorite!

RG, and LGC also have a similar profile to me.

My favorite cuban was a monte petit 2. Its the only monte size i smoked but 2 out of the 6 i had were incredible. I wish all 6 had that flavor. Hoping ordering from here changes the inconsistency I experienced with montes so far.

There's a note I call "musky." It doesn't refer to a cologne-type/Egyptian musk or the must I get in extremely aged tobacco. I have tried to define it using other notes and just cannot. I assume it is, in reality, a complex combination of many more-familiar notes as listed above.

That wasn't on the list, but I would have chosen it hands-down if it were.

I feel like I know what your talking about.  If we are on the same page, I like that too.

There is a musky, unsweetened cocao note, unfortunately I have only found it in some aged Sir Winston I had years ago. I got a hint in some Connie A I’m hoping will come out as they age. Wish I could find in other regular production.

So if I were looking for chocolate, shortbread, cream, what would you guys recommend?

Just three? :D

Okay then, I love my creamy textured, sweet spiced (especially honey and/or vanilla) and coffee/toast/bread flavoured cigars. Call me a 'sweet tooth!'

This nails what I like too, even better throw in some wood/cedar and you have H. Upmann Connie A

Sometimes when I'm winding down and smoking a stogie, my girl will ask me what it tastes like. Once or twice I've said leather, pepper, had a good Dominican that reminded me of cocoa. But I don't tend to associate the tastes with substances, I associate them with places and memories. The woods out back of grandad's house on Saturday morning and stuff. The way the air smells/tastes on the back deck of this old school pub in Little Rock that is next to the river. It's weird I know. I guess earthy suits me. Wish I could get that cream taste people speak off. But then I did smoke cigarettes for 20 years up until 4 years ago and just started smoking cigars 5 months ago, so my palate is a little off kilter.

Consider Montecristo Petit Edmundo

Basically the Upmann profile.

Cream / Baking Spices

I'll always take cacao, vanilla, florals to change the pace a bit, but I know my marca is Upmann.
