jmg
Also, similar sized type minis & cigarillos? CoShos are already pretty awesome and great on their own or as a way to fill that void left behind that last puff of a good normal sized cigar. Im just wondering if they can/will get any better. BuzzArd
I would imagine they'd smooth out a bit. I've smoked through 2 boxes (cases? The 10 packs of 20 count... ). Some come off a bit harsh. Some are perfect. Would expect some temper to the rogue sticks in there and a better blend of flavor.

Still smoking from the first release (I got a few hundred sticks at the time). I do store them in my humidor. Frankly, I haven’t noticed any change with age so far. They are consistently good - I’ve yet to have one that tasted bad or didn’t burn well. IMO, no need or benefit from aging. I don’t care much for any of the other puritos, clubs, or minis so I can’t comment on their aging benefits.

No love for chicos? I’ve smoked a lot of both. For the money, i prefer the economy of the chicos. Not knocking coshos, i just feel like the quality difference isn’t quite congruous with the price difference.

I still remember a 7 count tin of Monte puritos that i got for free a few years back when they first came out as some of the most vile tobacco I ever put in my mouth

zeedubbya
@Lotusguy put me on to them and I am of the same opinion as him. No noticeable diff with age. They really haven’t been out that long yet though so who knows. Same old reliable best mini/cigarillo ever. I’ve tried the Chicos and others a few times as well and I don’t like them nearly as much as the CoShos, but I could see how some people could. The Cohiba Short IMO has a much better taste. I think I’ve only had 1 or 2 which weren’t good and I think it’s possible tar buildup made that difference. If they start to become bitter, make sure you wipe the tar off of the head. Side note—would love to see a review with Ken of a COSHo! I’m quite sure it would be hilarious!

I’ve rather enjoyed the chicos though, and don’t pay $18billion/gram of tobacco on those, like in the coshos :-/ I’d rather pay that kind of price/gram on my higher end stuff

I always find the burn gets a bit wonky at that point though, for some odd reason...

Only if you take a bunch of them, wrap them together, and create your own double robusto.
