Popular Post El Presidente Posted January 2, 2018 Popular Post Posted January 2, 2018 Earlier in 2017 I asked for some tips as to where to stay for a weeks post Cuba holiday. It had to be within a 90 minute flight of Havana and a place where we could "relax". Let's face it.....a week in havana is brilliant......but relaxing it isn't as you are on the go from morning to.......well....morning Cory and a few other members recommended Isla De La Mujeres (island off Cancun). We hadn't been there before but it fit the bill perfectly. Beautiful water, fantastic locals, tons of bars (but not seedy), great food. Outside of one locale, every Cuban cigar here is fake but that is to be expected in this part of the world. We stayed at the Privileges Alluxe resort on the North end of the island. I will miss the pool bar! We fly back tomorrow (back Friday) relaxed and ready for a cracking 2018. Can't wait to fill you in properly! Many thanks again Rob 17 1
