i love it. on a forum near famous for the absolute castigation of anyone purchasing LEs, RRs and one-offs, we have a veritable tsunami of support for just that.

memo to the poor sod considering it (and yes, if i had the dosh, i probably would also), expect utter condemnation for doing so. and if i were you, i'd sit back with one of those gorgeous looking smokes and completely ignore them.

I'd bet that less than 5% of these cigars ever get smoked.

I've had one or two of these. They are very good cigars.

Are they worth $200-$250 each? No.

Will they sell for more than that in future? Darn tootin' they will.

Disappointing to see people collecting and not smoking. If I buy a box or even a cigar I plan on smoking it.  What good does it just to hold on to it just to say you have one. I want to give my thoughts and tell people I had one.

That's kind of naive. Like it or not, these editions are meant for the collector of course. If they were for plain smoking HSA would toss 25 or 50 of them in a BN or SLB. That said, I'd confidently bet against the 5%-estimate. Most 'serious' collectors will get hold of more than one - and at prod.-numbers slightly less than the latest book humidors, this is not a particularly limited release. These are being (have been) bought for keeping, for smoking and for flippin'.
