hedgeybaby Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 I submitted my application for a Canadian work visa on Thursday and it's incredibly important on both a professional and personal level that they let me in. Hopefully this time they will issue it as I have been denied previously this year and Mrs Hedgeybaby is stuck in Miami with our young daughter. Hopefully, now that my boss has spent about ten thousand pounds on an immigration lawyer all will be well. With this in mind, I would appreciate your recommendations for a cigar to celebrate (or cry with if denied.) Ideally your recommendations would come from the standard Habanos portfolio. Cheers, andy
Notsocleaver Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Make it a Punch since you cant get them in Canada apparently.
cigcars Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 ** A Behike 54 or 56 if it goes thru ** A Fonseca No.1 if rejected 1
jackupster Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Celebrations call for a big smoke. Double Corona! Like a Partagas Lusitania. If you get rejected go cheaper and save some money. You might need it. 1
Kbb Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Sir Winston. Appropriate for the "battle" you have been facing.
Romka Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Party E2. One of the best I've ever smoke. If non Cubans count, LFD Andalusian Bull works for both outcomes. 1
Danimalia Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 I would smoke a big ole' Double Corona or Churchill to celebrate. As for what to smoke if the news is bad. Well, may as well treat yourself good if the world is treating you poorly. So... Uh, a DC or Churchill? 1
polarbear Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 I've always believed you should smoke your best cigars on your worst days, take your bright sides where you can find them
saintsmokealot Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Smoke your best at the best of times and smoke your best at the worst of times. 2

hedgeybaby Posted November 21, 2017 Author Posted November 21, 2017 I'm liking the look of the E2. The BHK's are super expensive so I might not go that far, but something that will last me over an hour should be the ticket. Anyway, surely it will be a celebratory cigar, the Cannucks can't turn me down again surely? Cheers for your input chaps. A 1
