ErikB Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 That's it ! I won't quit smoking till I have tried either a Capitol or a Club King ! Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk
KnightsAnole Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 I wonder if the HUPC will be rereleased in this packaging once it goes away. 1
Doctorossi Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 I was just about to post about these! I'm excited. And yes, I sure hope the HUPC joins them- and with a quickness. 1
Danimalia Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Yup, I am stoked. The tins look amazing. I can totally picture myself whipping a Capitol or Club King (or a a Bolivar PC or RASCC or anything else I shove in there) out of one of those sweet tins while out and about on the town.
dominattorney Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 Not to be the contrarian here, but like, just what RJ needs--another mareva sized cigar. Ditto to Partagas. You know what's more retro than the PC in my book? The Hoyo Des Dieux or the Monte Especial.
Nattyboh74 Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 I've aways wondered about people that travel with these or go about the day with these in their pocket... I mean people talk about cigars having to sit at a perfect Rh or itll burn funky etc. Well, sitting in a airy tin that's leaking RH, doesn't that effect the cigars smoke quality and taste? That's why I've been pushed away from the tinned cigars like HUHC, shorts, clubs etc.
Popular Post SignalJoe Posted October 28, 2017 Popular Post Posted October 28, 2017 Did anyone else note the irony of HSA saying that Marevas are “possibly the most popular format in the history of Habanos,” while simultaneously deleting them at a record clip? 4 1

It’s all part of their plan to sell these tins. 1
Fugu Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Yup, noticed! I could do pretty well without all this tinplate, if they'd just bring back PCs in the 50-SLB. Pay for the tobacco, not for the packaging. The retro style attempt isn't even much appealing to me, I have to admit, as they didn't manage making the old crumped slip lid fitting. 2
Rhino Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Here is a tin I was gifted many years ago. Pretty neat addition to my collection of relics. I’m a fan so will probably pick a couple of each up when I can. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3

No more than a couple of days, in which case these won't be much different than most cigar travel cases that aren't humidors. Where I live, the outside humidity is generally lower than my humidor, but it's not a desert either.
Danimalia Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 I think the humidity concerns mostly relate to long term storage and humidor conditions.

I bet you'll be disappointed when you have the so-called "retro" version in hand. 1

I bet you'll be disappointed when you have the so-called "retro" version in hand.I guess I could be but I find walking into situations like that with an open mind generally saves me from feeling disappointed. Take things as they are, not as I want them to be. If they have good cigars in them I don’t think I’ll be disappointed at all though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
