Popular Post Stump89 Posted October 7, 2017 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2017 I've only had 1 out of this box until now and was impressed, figured I'd add a review. Draw as a little bit on the tight side but I didn't have any issues. Started off right away with dense and creamy smoke. Slightly woody, but the main flavors are reminding me of honey roasted peanuts. Sweet, but not overpowering. 2nd third is similar, but add a bit of a baking spice taste, especially through the nose. I can also get a milk chocolate note which I wasn't expecting, but it doesn't last too long. Final 3rd intensifies all of the flavors, but the cedar wood takes over. Smoke is still dense and creamy. Burn is pretty much razor sharp the whole time and didn't need any touch ups. Smoking time was about an hour. I really enjoy a good petit corona, and this delivered in spades. Have to give it a solid 93-94. Sadly another one of the great smokes to go to the chopping block a few years back. Smoke 'em if you got 'em. 7
JohnS Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 1 out of the box in six years...well done to smoke another now!
Fugu Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 A great cigar (and yours looking delish) - too good to let it survive. And by that I don't mean the ones smoking them, I mean the ones that put them on the chopping block....
Stump89 Posted October 7, 2017 Author Posted October 7, 2017 Got these as aged stock a little while ago. Definitely should have grabbed another box or 2.
hoyopr Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Thanks for a great review and fond memories. Miss this cigar very much.
