As a Chiefs fan here in KC I thought that was humorous.  More of a shot at the Politically correct/incorrect debates over our team's nicknames.  Don’t think it was a shot at you Ken.

possibly a little bit of an over reaction but we have been through all that on the forum ad nauseam. it never ends well and frankly is a load of crap as far as i am concerned and gets threads shut down. and a bit rich as a first post before even an intro or a hello.

on a more interesting level, terrific game yesterday. frustrating to get so close but before it, i said i'd be happy if we could play well and get close - at arrowhead, against an undefeated team, that would be an achievement. can't say i felt happy at the end but on reflection, to get that near, especially with so many players going down injured, was the sign of a team on the rise (would never have thought it after the shocker in the first game). and doctson manages to pull off that really tough catch right at the end, they go on to almost certainly win. still plenty of issues - running backs, injuries, WRs that can't catch - i'm looking you pyror, stupid penalties. but lots to like.

Even after their solid performance against the Raiders I thought playing the Chiefs in KC was going to be a tall order.  To add to this, I thought when it was announced this season that Gruden would be calling the offensive plays this year that it would be a problem.  His poor play calling and clock management cost them the game IMHO.  I didn't get to see all of the game due to the lateness of the broadcast.  I hate those late games!    But what I did see of it early on showed they definitely had a good chance of winning that game.

At least they have a bye next week so they can heal up and get some rest.

Skins definitely had a good shot at winning that game. Some poor penalties kept Chiefs drives going. I was most impressed with their defense. Fast, flying to the ball, hitting hard. Didn't let our athletes like Tyreke Hill get out in space where they could do some damage. Not the prettiest of games on either end, but good to watch for the Chiefs fans. My oldest son was at the game and texting me. He had a blast. Said everyone in the lower bowl of the stadium stood for the entire game. He's used to that from his college days I guess. View from my man cave was excellent and I didn't have to stand once (except to get a new beer).
