Popular Post madandana Posted June 25, 2017 Popular Post Posted June 25, 2017 Dana and I took Hanna and her boyfriend Tristan to Europe to celebrate their high school graduation. Started off with a 5 day cruise out of Genoa. 1st stop Naples. Was a little bummed as it was with in a couple of days of AMICIgar and we were so close but decided it was Hannas trip and wouldn't be fair for me to ditch them for a few days so I had to pass. With Genos advise I stopped at Sisimbro Tabac shop and Anna hooked me up with a couple boxes of Casanovas. She had 20 more boxes but wouldn't part with them. Made me wonder without dropping Genos name if I would even have gotten the 2 I did. While we shopped for cigars Dana fulfilled a promise she made to me while in Cuba last November. As she watched me purchase bundle after bundle of custom rolls she informed me on our Italy trip her and Hanna would be shopping at Louis Vuitton for purses. OUCH, but what could I say? After that we swung by Da Michele pizzeria then back to the ship for Negronis. Next stop Sicily. Toured some small towns then went to visit the bar from the Godfather scene were Michael meets Apollonias dad for the first time. Then to the top of the mountain for a great view and a Negroni. Then back to the ship for Negronis. Day 3 Malta. Beautiful country. Swung by both Charles Grech shops but didn't pick anything up. The only aged thing they had was a large supply of RyJ 2010 Churchhills almost grabbed a box but remembered they had taken a dip in quality around that time.Maybe that's why they had all the boxes? Back to the ship for Negronis. Next day at sea. Smoked and drank Negronis. Dropped us off in Barcelona were we stopped in at Gimenos and toured the Cava. Picked up a couple boxes of SLR Spain regionals. Off to the beach town of Sitges one hour south to spend the next 4 days Smoking and yes..... Drinking Negronis. Found a nice shop there and couldn't resist stopping by everyday to pick up another box of SLR. To many Negronis. Shop was called Marce Llibres Tabacs. t 15
madandana Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 We did. Stopped and toured the church in Messina on the way back to the ship, then had a pizza on the street with wine. Never had a bad glass of wine in Italy. 1

Big fan of Italian wines, - Sicilia and Sardegna are no exception. 1

Habana Mike Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Looks like a great trip. I'm sure Dana and Hanna picked out some nice purses. Kelly is in the midst of fulfilling her promise as well, master bath is fully gutted at the moment. Enjoy the Casanovas. I had my first on Friday and it was fantastic! Super dark wrapper and quite full in strength and flavor. 3

Ryan Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Looks like a great trip. I had seen you were in Italy/Malta just before Amicigar, shame you couldn't make it over but I understand completely. We're off to Spain on Saturday and I have a few "detours" planned. My wife puts up with a lot on our trips away! 1
