SCgarman Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 I have the same Oasis humidifier unit. Has worked well since 2008, but you have to periodically take it apart and inspect for nasty stuff, and clean if need be. Could be they did not use distilled water in it?

Philc2001 Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Nice find. The foam always causes problems and gets clogged up. Just toss that green stuff out and replace it with soil-moist or any brand of polymer crystals. They will hold more distilled water and last longer. I replace them yearly whether it needs it or not.

Exactly what I was gonna reccomend.
Drguano Posted June 2, 2017 Author Posted June 2, 2017 I'll be stopping on the way home to pick up some polymer. The foam brick lifted right out and the tank cleaned up nicely. I'll pick up the humidor tomorrow (the Roadster is just not quite big enough) and hope to have it up and running by noon. Thanks for the feedback! 1
