Lusi's, Punch and RAG are what I am going after.

In order of preference of the big cc's, I'd go with BCG, Lusi, Punch DC, RAG, VRDA, and HdM. Better to jump on the '15 and '16 stock being discontinued sooner than later.

Have them all on hand, it's my favorite size whenever I have enough free time. Smoke the Hoyo the most, followed by Punch and Lusi. Others are good in their own right ?

I love DCs and last year I wanted to sample the different Marcas.  So I bought a box of each marca and did splits keeping a fiver or two from each one.  Now I have a 50 Cab Sampler plus got to share sticks with a lot of great FOH brethren.  I have tried each marca and by the time I get thru the 50 cab in a few years or so, I might actually have a favorite!

I think, if one can afford 50cabs of DC they should go for it. Considering the time necessary to smoke them, theoretically you could have it for many many years before it's empty.

That's my goal. I need to get some Don Alejandro and 50s for the others.

FYI, more importantly than Lusi 10's, Ravi's also got some 50 cabs of Punch DCs floating around. The cab I got in last week from him will defy any "PSP" offering (like most boxes I get from Ravi). Safest place on the planet to secure a 50 cab of Punch DCs while they are still available.

Personally, I was like you before my cc days. Couldn't discern much except a vague pepper spiciness and whether a cigar was generally good or bad. For me, switching to Cubans showed me what all the fuss was about. And while I'm certainlyrics not going to put on airs and say I can discern cherry vs prune flavors in a cigar, I am able to detect leather, coffee, earth, grass, sourdough, stone fruit, and citrus flavors in cuban cigars. A student of mine burned his fingers on a psd4 I gave him after competing in Los Angeles and said something along the lines of "so this is what people are talking about when they talk about flavor transitions over the course of smoking."

As my first DC purchase, I got a 10ct box of Lusis. They are amazing. If it were me I'd go for a box of Lusis and a box of Bolis or Punch.

He's who I got the SLRs from years ago.  About to say f it and just pull trigger on his cab of punch DCs.

Hate to even chime in when so many have for the same cigar, but I would say the Lusi is the ONE. Been a great DC for decades. Grab'em up!
