Popular Post El Presidente Posted January 25, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 25, 2017 It is Australia Day in Oz today and a Nation Wide Public Holiday........one that I approve of It is indeed great to catch up with friends and family over a BBQ and a few cold beers, glasses of wine and that cigar that is just a little bit special to you Aussies have a lot to be thankful for. From dodgy convict beginnings a cracker nation it has become. Far from perfect, plenty of challenges but there is no shortage of hope and endeavor. In relation to our convict beginnings......I am reminded of the story of Stuart Fox coming to Oz for a major sporting event and heading through immigration at Melbourne airport. Border Control " Welcome to Australia. Purpose of visit?" Stu "Holiday" Border control " any criminal record?" Stu " Do you still need one?" Aussies, let us know what you are up to for Australia Day!
