It has been an interesting run the last two years. I spent lots of time in remote areas of Sout Florida, and Everglades with limited Internet. Some of the actions include hosting two 80 miles protest walk to save 80 miles from a Greenway. Yes a Greenway bike path sounds like a great idea, but there are over 1000 miles of bike path not used, and this one would stop more needed water flow. At present I have been fighting to save over 70,000 arc. from more oil, and fracking. This includes protest, petitions, and meeting with the goverment. Including links to videos, images, and more:

Video from 1st 78 mile walk second year was 80 miles. Working with different tribes, groups. Second year 80 mile we also focus on clean water, oil, and other topics.

Here is another video taken after the walk. I went back to review the areas that would be remove, and the impact.

Petition: The petition is up to 5000 people. It started out with just 20 people looking at this project, and saying it was not a good idea.

Some images of Animals & Plants from the area. Florida is host to roughly half of the orchid species found in the United States. This video includes some of these Orchids who call the Everglades home.

This is from another area they wanted to drill for oil using fracking. The thing is Florida sit above it's aquifer system, composed of the Upper and Lower Floridan aquifers. Our drinking, bath, and more comes from this. Also most of this is connect via a top layer we call the River Of Grass AKA Everglades. The Everglades is a slow moving river. This video features the marsh/Sawgrass areas in the Everglades. Using the present bike paths in the Everglades to capture the sunsets, thunderstorms, and changing landscape colors. Once again this highlights that there are many existing bike paths that are rarely used in the Everglades. This also features some of the areas being considered for oil drilling. I used this video to help work with the local Goverment, groups to bring laws to block fracking.

Here is a write about the Oil/Fracking & testing they want to do in the Everglades. I was interview, and provide some input.

Love your work, and thank you for fighting for the preservation of the 'glades.  I grew up on the Eastern edge of the everglades in Palm Beach County.  I signed both petitions.

Some of the images look like scans of film, how long have you been shooting the everglades?

Born in Orlando, grew up in Pembroke Pines right on the glades.. spent my youth fishing em. College in Miami, and now adult life in Tampa. Florida is the only place I'd ever live; both petitions signed- gotta protect the state!

Thanks for all the kind words posted very fast from work. I might of been off on a few things. I will try to keep posting, and stay around. I use to do lots of fishing post also, and some times cigar reviews. Cigars on these trips are some times all I have, and they help with the bug's for sure. Look forward to connecting with lots of friends.

I been going to the Glades most of my life both the Ocean, and land sides all the way up to Lake O. Most of the fishing photos I use to post are from Flamingo, and 10K.
