Quilted maple with solid figured maple...just stunning! Maple on maple is hard to get to look nice. This is beyond nice.

Thanks guys, the filling of some great smokes will commence today and tomorrow!  Been taking lots of temp and RH readings for the last 3 days.

Don't do it!  Don't try to explain the 'Man Cave' initiative after so many years of denial.  It will not end well!  Instead, just have the backhoe and excavator crew move into the ground floor and start working one day.  Make it look all rush-rush.  Tell the wife it's emergency seismic retrofit, or maybe that much needed bomb shelter now that Iran's back in business. 

Once the concrete is all poured, the lighting and ventilation installed, and the wet bar fully functional you can suggest alternative uses for this space now that the "house has been saved."

After day 6, things are rock solid in every category and all three levels reading 63 and 64RH at 65deg. .  Just in time, as some true vintage smokes have been arriving from our host and some others just got transferred into the cabinet.

Beautiful humidor. I have purchased two from Bob, and I have been most satisfied. He does amazing work.
