Bohn007
I am curious as to the aging potential for various brands. What is your favorite cigar from that age group and why?
Smoking Ninja
I would say the H-Upmann Mag 46. I have a box of tubos box code USE NOV 2008 and when I first smoked it in 2009, it was rather strong and kinda harsh. Not that complex. I smoked a few later in 2012/2013 it was much much better with signature HU nuttiness and sweetness. A month ago I smoked another one and it was just out of this world. Medium body but it mellows out a lot comparing to the one I had back in 2009. It was full of the HU nuttiness and sweetness. It was much more complex and the aroma was just unbelievable! I wish I had more left...
PigFish
I must be getting old... Somehow I cannot get my head around '08 as 'aged' cigars, but I guess I had better get used to it... -LOL Oh, sorry no real useful information from me, just 'color' commentary! -Piggy

Habana Mike
I've really enjoyed mature Sir Winstons from 2008. Very rich yet smooth, smoking wonderfully!
FCUBUCK
Had a winnie from 08 that was just awesome. I would be happy if I could smoke that cigar the rest of my existence. I really dig the VR Maestros from about that time frame too.

lonederranger
Punch RS12 2008 :-) (for stlil current gear, then CoRo 08 + SigVI 08 dead heat) I can't argue with this️. The rs12 are lovely little cigars, I don't have 08's but that's one of my favourites. I'm not a huge fan of the CoRo but I am on my second can of 08 sig6 and they smoke very well. I was a bit disappointed when I broke the cab as they start out too harsh to retrohale but after a cm of that they open up into the most amazing cohiba profile. My absolute favourite cohiba for smoking experience and cost is the CCE which are like nothing else when "on". My boxes are 06 so slightly older. They're absolute crackers.
