Cohiba Siglo IV, MEL DIC 07, Cohiba Review Comp. 2016

Smoking this cigar was like saying good by to an old friend. The last of a box I smoked over a couple of years and as I look at my smoking diary this box of Siglo IV have the best ratings of any cigar since i started tracking  my collection on the Cuban Cigar website. The cigar is fairly dark and has a lovely oil sheen even after 9 years box age.

This is going to be a short review. I love Cohiba. Aged for five years minimum and I think they stand up with the best of any cigars I have smoked. This cigar did not disappoint. Creamy smoke with a touch of grass and Cuban Cigar twang. I don't have a sophisticated vocabulary to describe flavors so the best thing I can say for this Siglo IV is that as I push the smoke slowly through my nose is, "That's good." Perfect for a Sunday afternoon after a good workout and breakfast and before a nap, this cigar punctuates a great day.
