Firstly, i got this range of Cohibas from an extremely generous BOTL in @Trevor2118. You are a legend mate! I brought them all to work with me to go through them. I will do a review on all 5. Only three will obviously be done for this comp.

Cohiba is probably my least favourite brand. From a price point and flavour profile it's just not what i want. I generally get a bit of honey and toasted tobacco from them. I've never had one that i thought was fantastic. Fresh or aged.

This one starts out with a bit of sweetness. More the sweet syrup type sweetness. A bit of toasted tobacco, a bit of cedar. My god this a big cigar. Why the F is it so girthy!?!? Never realised how large the ring gauge was. Ohh... it just clicked... no wonder its called EXTRA!

Smoking this on the back balcony at work. Trying not to die from the dust and SO2 gas. I told the production coordinator to turn the plant off so i could smoke in peace. He laughed and hung up the phone. Bastard. Doesn't respect my authoritaay! :tantrum:

In the mouth there is a bitter taste... Almost like grapefruit. Not the taste, just the sensation. Whatever, someone might know what i mean. Through the nose though it's a whole different beast! Quite nice! almost a musk stick type flavour. I would say floral, but not quite. Pairing this with water. Need to drink more water, been sweating my sack off last few days and need to rehydrate.

I've been using my phone to track my steps... hit more than 20000 steps every day the last 4 days. It's interesting watching people do work. Blokes working off a ladder, and sees me looking at him and hooks his fall arrest harness onto a beam above him. You would think life preservation would be more common than "only when the boss is around". At least he has a harness on i guess.

The cigar finishes with a bit of a kick. Flavour has definitely changed to more dark roast coffee note. A very nice hour and a half smoke.

Ohhh... something in the plant has died in the ass.... back to it. Thanks Trevor!!

What kind of plant?

Sulphide gold processing plant. Well sulphide crusher, mill, floats, roaster and CIL. And then oxide crusher mill and cil as well. And of course elution gold room.
