I cooked a beautiful dinner of slow cooked Pork and beef Ribs.....tick.

Decanter two bottles of Amarone......tick

Took the Monte 80th out of the dry box...tick

Guests arrived on time.....tick

The Wallabies All Black game started.....tick

25 minutes in and I can't stomach any food, I have reached for the Scotch, my Monte 80th might as well have been a Guantanamera :tantrum:

Those yellow jersey prima donna's went and ruined my night.

to be honest, i never expected better.

thought i'd do one of your cigar and matching whatever thingees. a lusi from the box where the 100 pointer hailed plus from the back of the spirit cupboard, the remaining edumnd dantes cuban rum.

first half of the cigar was 99-100 and glorious. rum superb.

second half of the cigar was lucky to be 85. but i was resigned to a wallabies farce - it was just a sad second half of the cigar. but the rum was great.

I don't know why we even bother any more. We might as well just hand them the trophy before the first match, just to save time.

I know how you feel. For us Scots, with the exception of 1999, its been pretty much downhill since the 1990 Grand Slam.

worst thing to happen to us was that dodgy decision which let us sneak past your lot into the semis of the cup. allowed us to think that we were actually not bad or even better than that.

when in fact, we are so utterly abysmal that we are an embarrassment to all those who proclaim themselves incompetent. we aspire to sad and pathetic. for us, there is no light at the end of the tunnel. we can't even find the tunnel. inept administration, arrogant tosser players more interested in a cheque than pride, clueless coaching, dismal selections at every level, total failure to provide a base for the game throughout the country. there is not a rugby administrator who should not be so ashamed of themselves that they don't resign immediately and never go near a field again.

we should have lost that test v scotland. we then snuck past the argies in a manner hardly glorious. lost the cup, lost the next three tests at home to the poms (shame, cheika, shame) and now thrashed senseless by the blicks. and up for another round this weekend. anyone think we'll beat the boks? unlikely at home and fat chance in south africa. toss in another thrashing by the blicks and every chance we will have lost 9 straight. although perhaps we sneak one against the argies in all that.

then we have the keystone kops bugging scandal. still, as the police said, it was apparently a very professional job. so we can rule out anyone associated with the wallabies immediately.

We were so slow off the line in the move into the professional game, we're still playing catchup now, and will be for the foreseeable future. Hopefully Townsend can build on Cotter's good work!

In my lifetime, the Wallabies have always been a fearsome obstacle for any team to overcome. I'm not an Aussie, but even I miss the days of Eales, Horan, Campo, and Lynagh.

Try being me and paying over $350 for 2 tickets. I even have flights and tickets for this weekend.

If it's of any consolation, this comment made me laugh!

If it's of further consolation, Wallaby's v All Blacks is terribly reminiscent of NSW v Qld. At least now you have some idea of what it's like being a New South Welshman.
