Decided to bring the Negroni gin back as a souvenir. Quite dear for gin - I think the only time I might have paid more was for some hard to find Blackwood's. I am a huge negroni guy, so...

I dunno what you paid for it but everywhere I've been that stocks it has it selling for $90au-$100au a bottle and that's pretty standard for any top shelf gin in Australia
Sure you can find a lot of gins for much cheaper but you get what you pay for.

I'll give the lads at Four Pillars this, their pricing is pretty good (IMO) considering they're a small batch, independent distillery

Thought I would try it in a Negroni. Only ever had it on ice or in a G&T. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You have to try Moneky 47. The GIN of all GINs. Pour up with some ice, drink as it is or just a splash of tonic. Amazing gin.

Four Pillars, Ink Gin, The Botanist, Gordon's.  G&T's. Martinis or Negronis.

Hey @Ken Gargett

I may have already asked this but, why did Four Pillars change the name of their "Gun Powder Proof" gin to "Navy Strength"?

I dug through my pantry the other day and happened upon a seam of sealed bottles from a few years ago and noticed the name change

Anyone tried this?

AUSTRALIAN GREEN ANT GIN

Limited Edition, 42% $109.99

It's got real green ants floating in it! This formigable (sic) and elegant gin offers a constant reminder that Australia has abundant and important native botanicals that many are ignorant about. Bush tucker from the distant past combines brilliantly with Adelaide Hills gin and adds a pleasant fragrant and elegant edge, without being dominant

You shouldn't be reluctant to try it, it's a triumphant celebration of all things extravagant in the new dawn of Australian distilling. We urge you to grab some as we are sure you'll love it and pretty soon the bottle will be vacant!

Traditionally favoured by Indigenous societies for their medicinal benefits and protein content, Green Ants display vibrant flavours of Lime and Coriander. This unique bush tucker is hand harvested in the Northern Territory by the Motlop family of the Larrakia people.

This product is handcrafted and bottled in The Adelaide Hills.
