That particular box was from '05. It started out nice, for the first few years, but then went South. I took it as a learning experience not to let my PSD4s get too old.  I'm not a big PSD4 fan, but my poker buddies love them, so I always try to keep some on hand.

It's really hard to go wrong with any marca when it comes to aging. I fall in the same category as @Eric E. I have a wide variety of marcas and vitolas from collecting over the years. By smoking one here and there, they tend to age gracefully. If it's something that I really enjoy, I'll get a few boxes, leave a couple for aging and smoke out of the others. Your typical suspects never fail to disappoint when it comes to aging: Cohiba, Partagas, Monte, Upmann, etc.

The best advice I can give is to put a few down, forget they are there and enjoy the journey.

Don't forget RASS. Never heard a bad word said about letting them sit for quite a while.

Upmann #2's are hard to beat with age on them. Don't you just love how accurate they were with bands back in the day?

Happy 4th of July ladies and gents!

Please explain to me why my picture is sideways? For reference, it's an 01 #2.

The reason is because mobile phones mostly are set to take photos in the landscape position by default. The problem is most people take photos in the portrait position. There are ways to avoid this, one, get a dedicated camera app to re-adjust your photo or two, edit it with software like Photoshop.
