You keep bringing up these Du Prince's and it's killing me. I can't believe these weren't on my radar before a few weeks ago and now there my number 1 priority.

Just get good ones. From me or anybody else.

I'm trying to resist till they're on 24:24 again. I don't trust that they will be good ones from other vendors

Totally agree.

No offense intended to HSA (mind you they can get touchy biggrin.png )

I want nothing more than what I just smoked. A Hoyo De Monterrey Du Prince. Mind you it was PSP but the box was badly damaged from warehouse to here. I only took a stick to smoke while playing poker.

With all due respect, keep every one of your 50+ gauge cigars. This was a dream. The cream, the spice, the body. So young. So good. Kudos to you/tabacuba for putting them together, we often forget.

A 96 point cigar all day long. Ageing required...none.

Hat's off. This is what Cuba does at it's best. cigar.gif

Totally agree!

I felt the same way about a Fonseca No. 1 I had a couple of nights ago. This was from a 2014 box I grabbed on the 24:24 a while back. So glad I didn't hesitate, as each one from this box has been heavenly. Really hate that these have all but dried up. Pres, if you get any more of them, I'm your man!

I'd like the smaller standard ring gauge cigars to continue, such as the Montecristo No.5, San Cristobal de La Habana El Principe, Trinidad Reyes etc. I'd prefer these not to be replaced by new short larger ring gauge cigars such as the Cohiba Media Siglo, although I'd still sample this I'd say when it comes out.

Of course, I concur for the Hoyo de Monterrey Le Hoyo du Prince and would like to add the Por Larranaga Petit Corona, which only comes in a 50 Cab...please don't bring this out in a dress box of 25!

And what about some long and skinnies that we don't see enough of? Lonsdales such as the Cohiba Siglo V, La Gloria Cubana Medaille d'Or No.2. Montecristo No.1 and Partagas 8-9-8. Please make sure we get more stock of these!

Wonder how many ppl will tell you off for ranting? Lol

Amen Rob. A fancy band or box, hype, huge rg or price.....none of it matters when smoking a great, simple, cigar.

And the company making this colossal cigar says it is not a novelty, but is meant to be taken seriously!!surprised.gif

My last 5 box purchases:

Por Larranaga Encantos - 10'

Trinidad Reyes - 14'

Ramon Allones Small Club Corona - 13'

Hoyo de Montery des Dieux - 13'

San Cristobal de La Habana El Principe - 08'

I would love a great box of Du Prince and am almost exclusively investing in boxes of long/short and skinny for the foreseeable future.

My wallet doesn't stretch as far as some (dam kids but I love em) or the time to age I want something bang out of the box that will give me the BIG wow factor

Just smoked this cigar for first time and I would call it an hour of Apple Pie A La Mode! Cream, toasted tobacco, interesting tartness with occasional sweet tossed in and a very nice spice. Great cigar. Thanks Prez!
