Popular Post El Presidente Posted December 10, 2015 Popular Post Posted December 10, 2015 I was setting up for a video on Monday afternoon at kens place. Shrieks from the bedroom. Immediately ruling out a woman being in the house.....I asked ken what was wrong......"CENTIPEDE!!!" was the answer I wandered in to the Gargett "Boudoir" and indeed there was a rather large Centipede crawling along the floor. "I can't believe this" said Ken...."Last week I found a Tick behind my ear". Hard to believe indeed..... So what does one Ken do with a large Centipede you may ask? ...release it to the wild (that would be the kitchen)....kill it maybe? No. You see....ken has a pet Scorpion (named "Scorpio") that he keeps in a small fish tank. " I will put him in with Scorpio for a battle to the end" ......yes...Life is a little slow in "wine writer world" this time of year I received a text tuesday: Scorpio 1 Centipede 0 I look forward to filming this Monday for the next exciting installment 8
El Presidente Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Gargett's Insect Thunderdome. To be fair i knew someone who would do the "Insect Thunderdome" regularly. small spider V small lizard etc. Of course Ben was six at the time. 1
Ken Gargett Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 seriously? i just love days when you are bored. go and get drunk and leave me out of it. and why would you annoy the bloke who has the photos of you in cuba - yes, the ones you were far too pissed to remember. otherwise known as my super fund. there were no shrieks. nothing at all like that. baden-clay tells fewer porkies than you. i was delighted (not so much that it was in the bedroom). it is true i found a small tick behind my ear but this is a place surrounded by bush. there are ticks everywhere. have you never encountered ticks? fortunately i got it before it decided to burrow in. you did not wander in. you have never been in my bedroom. i caught it and brought it out. you were cowering on the balcony. where did scorpio come from? never called that. you just make it up as you go along. he is called stuart. after stuart broad. not a fish tank - a sort of tupperware thing. but it works. i put a burrowing cockroach in there a while back. like a little earthmoving machine. churns out great tunnels. possible that legs (the name for the centipede) has gone down there. certainly he has disappeared. and stuart is on full alert. not happy. filming this monday? so you will be attending. my ESP is on the fritz. i will be watching a delayed telecast of those hopeless water buffaloes stuck in the mud, the skins, so do not turn up before that is over. i suggest ringing first. remember, you had to stay outside for origin. you won't even get in for this!
El Presidente Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 Deciphered ......It happened as I posted

Ken Gargett Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Deciphered ......It happened as I posted how on earth is is you coming up with complete fiction 'as it happened'? do i have to go to the vault?
MIKA27 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 it is true i found a small tick behind my ear but this is a place surrounded by bush. there are ticks everywhere. have you never encountered ticks? fortunately i got it before it decided to burrow in. Are you referring to bush in your ear or around your house?
El Presidente Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 how on earth is is you coming up with complete fiction 'as it happened'? do i have to go to the vault? I hope your day is "ticking" along As i said to Paul and Sheri when they visited from the US last month. "Why go all the way to Australia Zoo?.....let's go to kens instead" 1
westg Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 You know what happens next after being bitten by a tick....well usually around 14 days later
MIKA27 Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 You know what happens next after being bitten by a tick....well usually around 14 days later Maybe it was Ken who bit the tick
