Probably my favourite small format at present ....waiting for them to pop up on 24@ 24 smile.png went through a box in less than a month..Lots of bad press about them though ..that said I really like them .

The easiest way to define them is to think of the power of a H.Upmann Half Corona, but with a Montecristo flavour profile. I have a few from a split John...I'm happy to give you one to sample my friend.

Ive smoked two and for me they were to tanic/harsh. Im going to sit on the rest for a year and revisit. I do see the potential but right now not a fan, others have had great experience with them.

Only had one. lasted 30 minutes. Good, but not great flavors. Classic Monte. I enjoyed it but not a good value cigar. Felt the Petit Edmundo was much much better. Flavors were getting lost in the last 5 minutes or so, likely due to the youth of the cigar.

How does it compare to the Monte PE

It's different, but in regards to strength. I think the Montecristo Media Corona, H.Upmann Half Corona and Partagas Serie D No.6 are all recent shorter-length offerings designed to give you a 'kick' straight away, they are medium-full to full strengthed. The Petit Edmundo I would think can give you the chocolate/cocoa and espresso notes that Montecristo is known for, but would be medium-strength.

Likely hard to compare to an aged PE (yum), and agree with others the ones I had could use a bit more time. Offered one to a friend who said he preferred Monte 4s. Can't dispute him, when the 4s are on.

I am going to snag a box to try but feel they should be priced the same as the Upmann HC. Unless they are a lot better I probably wont continue to pay the extra coin since i enjoy the upmanns.

I think nice addition to mix up the uhc in the rotation
