dougincanada Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 I remember as a kid I could get popeye candy cigarettes and chocolate cigars. There used to be something called a Chocolotto bar here in Canada. Basically it was a chocolate bar that gave you chance to win free junk food and prizes. It is best to expose kids to smoking and gambling at an early age they dont become *******! Just kidding. I also vaguely remember them all getting banned, I thought whats with the government banning all the good stuff? The more things change....... 1

Here in Australia we used to have lollies that were called FAGS (Slang for cigarettes) Then that changed to FADS in the late 90's I remember my brother and I would often pretend they were real cigarettes in the 70's and 80's
liger930 Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I miss how delicious and satisfying junk food, soda, & candy used to be chasing down ice cream trucks. These days i just chase woody, dark chocolate, cream, cedar, & barn yard hah

Derrek You can still buy them. My dream is to get one for the house. No two games are ever the same, no programming, just pure physics.
dangolf18 Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 No smartphones, going to corner shop with $2 and feeling like the richest man on earth (could buy 4 candy bars), going to family functions, and playing outdoors. It's a shame kids today don't know what it was like without smartphones, HDTVs, and Facebook. The world was a much simpler and nicer place lol. 2

NCPANTHERZFAN Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 The excitement and wonder over the smallest things. I am currently vicariously experiencing this again through my 3 year old daughters eyes. It's awesome. I had forgotten how great this feeling is. 1
