JMacSr Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 In April of 2004 at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre in New Orleans I proposed to my beautiful wife at a BB King/ Etta James concert. It was a great night. Today BB has passed on leaving behind some of the greatest music ever written and performed. I am so glad that I got to see both him and Etta live while they were still with us, their music will live on forever!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 4
Quint Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Yes we lost a great but he left behind quite the legacy. Seen him a few times live, always a great show. He seems to be such a genuine man. RIP. 2
Mr.T Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 One of the greats. I'm a huge fan and admirer of the Blues and what got it all started for me was BB King. RIP Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
ksblazer Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Sad to hear this Never saw him perform live. But when I first saw him on TV it made me interested in the Blues and I still enjoy listening to the blues. RIP 1

atlharp Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 BB King is a huge influence musically. The man exudes soul and swagger. He will be sorely missed. 1

iahawk36 Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 He was a huge musical influence to me, and one of the reasons I first picked up the guitar. R.I.P. to the King.
Ken Gargett Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 saw him when he played with U2 in sydney. terrific stuff. would have been a lot better if U2 had not turned up and just left it to him. although they did play part of 'like a hurricane'. very sad.
