alephilmac Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 (edited) Hi All, I have never tried these cigars, but would like to. Also, general thoughts on these cigars? Thank you! -C Edit: Sorry guys. Editted out. Edited May 1, 2015 by alephilmac
Smallclub Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 You forgot to name the source and the method of shipment 3
oliverdst Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 It's against the forum rules post about price/vendors. PM me.
... Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 As SmallClub alludes to, read forum rules carefully. Prices of regular production cigars off the internet should not be disclosed. As for the LGC4' worth, this is a very personal thing. I like their floral, subtle taste and aroma. You may or may not like them or find the price too much for you.
srbbones Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 These come up occasionally here - I think last time was in a LFTH, which is now replaced with 24:24 Keep an eye out here on the forum if you don't mind waiting
alephilmac Posted May 1, 2015 Author Posted May 1, 2015 Sorry about that. And appologies to Rob especially. I looked on the *****IT site and couldn't find any, wasn't thinking clearly this morning. -C
... Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Live and learn They seem not as available as most other regular production cigars. Bought a box in Cuba last month and when I asked why they were not readily available (the No2 was not available at the shops I visited) the older gentleman told me they were produced seasonally in relatively limited quantities... Not sure how accurate this is but food for thoughts. As stated previously, they appear from time to time on special offers here but they usually disappear fast.

I'll have to keep that in mind. I hope some are posted here soon. Finding this site/*****IT has been great!
CaptainQuintero Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 I love them, prefect spring time cigar; sweet floral syrup for me Just sip at them and enjoy
potpest Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I had one last night, 2nd out of a box I recieved 6 or so months ago. Was a nice smoke, light bodied with floral notes and hints of wood. It didn't blow my mind but it was a classy smoke. I believe they age particularly well, although have had no experince of aged ones
mk05 Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I believe they age particularly well, although have had no experince of aged ones A paradox to end all paradoxes. 3
Quint Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 A paradox to end all paradoxes. A riddle wrapped in an enigma?
JohnS Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 A paradox to end all paradoxes. A riddle wrapped in an enigma? Maybe potpest meant that he hasn't had his box long enough to comment on how they age, but he is confident they will age well. Nothing too mysterious akin to where Flight MH370 is located or similar.
dougincanada Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Sayings need to be fixed FOH style. A paradox to end with a pair of boxes. An enigma wrapped in tobacco.
potpest Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Pedants the lot of you. Maybe that should have read.. I believe they age well although have had no experience smoking an aged one.
mk05 Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Pedants the lot of you. Maybe that should have read.. I believe they age well although have had no experience smoking an aged one. No difference from the previous go. Hume would object at such a Descartian statement.
SparklePony Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Pedants the lot of you. Maybe that should have read.. I believe they age well although have had no experience smoking an aged one. I have some from 1999. They age beautifully. I would snap some up if I had the chance.
Smiley Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 My wife loves them! We always have a couple of boxes in the humi. Actually got two boxes in the mail today :-)
