As the warm weather finally making its way to Midwest, I'm already thinking about my favorite summer classic drink.
What's your preferred cigar to pair with it?

Aah...the Negroni! A wonderful cocktail born from the Americano when gin was added to it. Of course, how can one compare the beautiful mix of bitter and citrus flavours with the sweet vermouth and campari bitters in the drink?

The Negroni is a bittersweet, even slightly fruity drink which pairs well with cigars. For me, something medium-mild suits it like a Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.2 or something similar.

Hoyo Epi2 or Upmann Connaisseur#1 if you seek the contrast in flavors; something RA or Punch or SLR if you're looking for an interesting association… IMHO .

Negroni, big time in Italy. Pair it with a Partigas Luci if you have the time, if not a Partigas 898.

I'm with you on this one. So far my go-to gin for Negroni seems to be Botanist. And I alternate Maurin (if i"m in the mood for a sweeter drink) with Vye (if I want something just a tad dryer but more complex)

Big Negroni fan here, but I've never paired a Negroni with a cigar. Somehow I've always thought that the bitter aspect of it wouldn't pair well with a cigar. I'll have to give it a try soon to find out.

All of them. I am a massive negroni fan. Juan Lopez and SLR are what I usually reach for though.
